This statement sets out Professional Careers Management's (PCM) policies regarding the collection and use of your personal information.  PCM is a career services provider.  The range of services is available elsewhere on this website.

PCM considers all information it collects from you during the career services process as personal.  We collect information about you in the registration process and during the course of our interaction.  We also collect information about your personal credit card details to facilitate payment for our services.

The only use made of this information is in the provision of our career services.

Professional Careers Management will not use or disclose any information about you without your consent or unless:

  • Required by law.
  • We believe it necessary to provide you with a service, which you have requested.
  • To lessen a serious threat to a person's health or safety.

We will not send you advertising information or any other unsolicited emails unless you have granted us permission to do so.  For example, Professional Careers Management may on occasions wish to send you an unsolicited email which allows us to follow up on your case, request an evaluation of our services or announce important service changes or new services.

Professional Careers Management will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any information, which we hold about you and to keep this information accurate and up to date.  You are urged to notify us of any changes in your personal information, such as new address or telephone numbers, to ensure the information is current.  Your information is stored in a secure place on our computer system and is accessible only by your career services provider (counsellor).

You can also play an important role in keeping your personal information secure, by maintaining the confidentiality of any password and accounts used on the Professional Careers Management website.

Professional Careers Management provides links to websites outside of it control and we cannot accept responsibility for the conduct of companies linked to our website.  Before disclosing your personal information on any other website, we advise you to examine the terms and conditions of using their websites.
